The meeting was organized by Eugene S. Takle, William J. Gutowski, Jr., and Raymond W. Arritt of Iowa State University and was jointly sponsored by the International Institute of Theoretical and Applied Physics, Iowa State University , Ames, Iowa and the Climate and Global Dynamics Division of NCAR.
